Holiday from Georgia to New York?

would you say 1 week is long enough for a road trip from Atlanta Georgia to New york? if we were to spend 2 days in new york and 2 in Atlanta that would leave us 3 days to drive through South Carolina all the way up to Washington DC where we would either keep driving to new york or get a flight from Washington DC to New York? is 3 days long enough to drive through these 5 states and still be able to see things or would we have to none stop drove and would you say that the drive through pennsylvania is long and its worth flighing over that or would that not take to long? So really what im asking is this - is 7 days long enough to have an enjoyable road trip where we can stop and see things from Georgia to New York ( if we were to spend 2 days in Georgia and 2 in new york) and how long would you say the drive is ( without stops ) would you say that its too much for 1 week or do you think it would work?
