Is Hama-con and Seishun Con any fun?

My sister and I are planning on going to an anime convention. We can't decide on either HamaCon or Seishun Con. We are going to go to the one that seems more fun and exciting. Can anyone tell us if Hama-con (which will be in Alabama) or Seishun con(which will be in Atlanta) is fun? And how many people normally go to these two conventions?
